Clipr. ceramic top Blade 18 teeth medium

Clipr. Ceramic top Blade 18 teeth medium

Loose ceramic top Blade. This is the same Blade as the standard Clipr Blade number 10, which is included with a Clipr clipper. A ceramic cutting Blade has several advantages but also one major disadvantage.

Advantages of a ceramic top Blade compared to steel

• Stays sharp longer because it is a harder material than steel
• Conducts better than steel, resulting in less heat generation
• Ceramic absorbs heat less quickly than steel, keeping it cooler

Disadvantages of ceramic

• Ceramic cannot be sharpened afterwards
• Ceramic is very fragile; a Blade can break easily
